The first region to institute a fiduciary system (where a coin is worth a set value not what its material) Greece produced a wide variety of culturally important, highly different, and intensely detailed coins. At Curiosity coins we sell coins from all of the Hellenistic Kingdoms dating as far back as 400BCE.
